Walt Disney World Resort is the world’s largest theme park
Made up of 4 main parks Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and MGM Studios. They are excellent for all ages, offering amazing firework displays, parades and evening entertainment.
Walt Disney World also has two water parks: Typhoon Lagoon is designed to resemble a beach resort devastated by a tropical storm and has plenty of rides and attractions, our boys love the huge wave machine; Blizzard Beach where the theme is a ski resort that has melted and is a favourite among water slide enthusiasts.
Disney Springs, vast shopping centre as well as restaurants, Cirque du Soleil and cinema complex.
Universal Studios Orlando (30 minutes’ drive from villa)
Universal features 3 parks: Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcanic Bay Water Park.
Great for all ages, bigger rides and more designed for the teenagers. Universal has Harry Potter rides in both parks.
SeaWorld (25 minutes’ drive)
Marine Adventure Park with 200 acres of world-class shows, thrilling rides and unforgettable animal encounters.
Explore the mysteries of the sea with up-close animal interactions including dolphins, killer whales, sea lions, stingrays and much more. Great roller coaster rides too.
Discovery Cove (25 minutes’ drive)
Swim with the dolphins. Discovery Cove is located next to SeaWorld. You can swim one-on-one with dolphins, snorkel with tropical fish, stroke stingrays and admire the tropical birds.
Aquatica (25 minutes’ drive)
Water park and combination of animal experiences, water rides and slides.
Gatorland (25 minutes’ drive)
Like it says alligator capital of the world, one of the oldest parks
Wet n’ Wild (25 minutes’ drive)
Water Park, now owned by Universal, a legend.
Busch Gardens, Tampa (75 minutes’ drive)
True excitement and adventure, amazing roller coasters set in an animal based park with all the wild life from every country in the world.
NASA. Kennedy Space Centre (75 minutes’ drive)
At Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex you get the unique chance to tour – up close – NASA’s launch and landing facilities. Experience interactive simulators, live shows and jaw-dropping encounters with massive rockets as well as have the opportunity to meet a real member of NASA’s Astronaut Corps.

Cycle along The Orange Blossom Trail. A fantastic day out in the countryside passing through small towns and pit stops on route (45 minutes drive).
Cycle on the cycling pathways at Celebration near Disney, see all the amazing properties and stop off in one of the coffee houses / restaurants.

Clearwater and St Petersburg Beaches on the Gulf Coast (approx. 90 mins). Coco Beach approx. 80 mins on Atlantic Coast.
